THE HISTORY OF PANCASILA
Efforts to formulate Pancasila as a state foundation were officially carried out through the first session of BPUPK on May 28-June 1, 1945. The personal proposals put forward in this session were delivered by three figures: Muh. Yamin, Mr. Soepomo, and Ir. Soekarno. The pancasila proposals as the 5 foundations for the life of the nation are: In May 29th 1945, Muh. Yamin gave a speech to suggest the five principles.
